Villages, paths, waters and flavors of the Valle del Lucido

Crossing suggestive paths and old mule tracks, we will visit really characteristic villages, both for their history and for their secrets hidden by enchanting medieval architectures ... The villages mentioned are Aiola, Monzone Alto (and Basso) and Equi Terme. Not only history and legends: nature will enrich our journey, providing us with breathtaking panoramas, salted and black waters and thermal waters! (The waters are NOT hot, the temperature can be between 17 and 27 degrees celsius!). We will also have the opportunity to visit a still functioning mill. During our journey it will be possible to fill the bottle of water in various places and we will be able to taste the different waters that serve our area.

Program:

• Meeting at Equi Terme in the parking lot  in front of Hotel Terme at 09:30 AM               
• Guided tour to the town of Equi, then take the path to get to the small village of Aiola where we will make a short visit.
• Excursion to get to Monzone. Visit of the village.
• Lunch by the black waters with slices of salami and local cheeses and cake (cost € 10.00 per person). After lunch, a little relax and then
• return to Equi Terme, scheduled for 4: 00/4: 30 PM
• At the end of the excursion, possibility to stop at the outdoor thermal waters (our "Bozzetti")

Difference in altitude +/- 200 m. 

MANDATORY: trekking shoes, 1l water (the bottle can be refilled on the way), spare shirt, k-way and your medicines, comfort snacks, hat, mosquito repellent, long trousers. Dress in layers.

Recommended: sticks and towel to be left in the car.
